Initially launched as a standalone website, the platform evolved to integrate Lodgify, streamlining bookings across multiple channels.
The success of Graig Escapes spurred further growth, leading to ventures like Graig Glamping with bespoke shepherd huts and Graig Cleaning for holiday rental management. Today, Graig Escapes has expanded to list properties beyond their original portfolio, becoming a trusted name in North Wales holiday accommodation.

Graig Escapes was one of the first clients to approach Winter Jones outside the architecture sector — and it has remained one of our most rewarding long-term collaborations. What began as a straightforward website brief soon developed into a full rebrand and digital transformation, marking the start of an ongoing partnership built on shared values, trust, and creative alignment.
Based in the foothills of North Wales, Graig Escapes is a family-run business offering self-catering stays in cabins, pods, and a cottage. From the beginning, we admired the way they combined rural charm with a clear commitment to quality and guest experience. Their attention to detail, warmth, and ambition closely mirrored our own design philosophy — thoughtful, practical, and human.
Our first step was to establish a brand identity that captured the character of the business and its setting. The name, logo, and wider visual language were developed in collaboration with the client, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the values at the heart of the offering. We kept things clean, understated, and adaptable — allowing the identity to flex as the business evolved.
We then designed and built a new website using Squarespace, ensuring the platform was both visually impactful and easy to manage. Imagery, layout, and tone were tailored to suit the target audience, with an emphasis on simplicity, clarity, and warmth. To support bookings, we integrated Lodgify — a powerful accommodation platform — allowing the business to manage listings, availability, and guest communication across multiple booking channels.
Crucially, we built the website to scale. As Graig Escapes expanded their offering and grew their portfolio of accommodation, the website was able to accommodate these changes with minimal fuss. We provided copywriting support, page structure, and visual direction to keep the brand experience consistent and easy to navigate.
Over time, our involvement extended beyond the website. We've continued to support the business with ongoing updates, design refinements, and branded materials — always maintaining the original spirit of the collaboration. The result is a relationship we’re genuinely proud of, rooted in respect, creative freedom, and a shared desire to build something meaningful.
