Working closely with the client, the project brought together branding, content structure and digital development to create a cohesive platform for the growing business. The site integrates with Lodgify for lodge bookings and Ticket Tailor for event ticketing, allowing visitors to move smoothly from exploring the accommodation to securing their stay or booking seasonal experiences.

The project began by establishing a clear structure for the site, ensuring that visitors could quickly understand the different accommodation options available at Graig Escapes. The platform was organised around the cabins, pods and cottage, allowing each offering to have its own dedicated space while still feeling part of a consistent and unified experience. This approach made it easier for visitors to explore the accommodation, understand what makes each stay unique and move naturally between different parts of the site without feeling overwhelmed by information.
The website was developed using Squarespace, providing a flexible and reliable platform that the client could manage independently once the site was live. Particular attention was given to layout, imagery and pacing, ensuring the experience feels calm, welcoming and easy to navigate. Large images help convey the atmosphere of the surrounding landscape and accommodation, while clear typography and simple navigation allow visitors to move comfortably through the content. The overall aim was to create a digital experience that reflects the sense of escape and relaxation that Graig Escapes offers to its guests.
Alongside the visual design, the project also focused on ensuring the site worked effectively as a practical tool for the business. The platform integrates external booking systems that allow guests to check availability and make reservations directly through the accommodation providers. This integration ensures that the website supports the existing booking infrastructure while maintaining a smooth and coherent experience for visitors, allowing them to move easily from discovering the accommodation to making a booking.
Considerable thought was also given to how the site would perform over time as the business continues to grow. The structure was designed to allow new accommodation, seasonal content and additional experiences to be added without disrupting the clarity of the site. This flexibility ensures the platform can evolve alongside the business while remaining simple for the client to manage and update.
Beyond the technical elements, the goal of the project was to create a digital presence that reflects the character of Graig Escapes itself — relaxed, welcoming and connected to the surrounding landscape. By combining thoughtful structure, clear navigation and strong visual storytelling, the website provides a platform that supports both discovery and future growth for the business.
